More than Comedy. More than Theatre. Improv 101 is Zmack Improv Training Center's foundational improv theatre course.
Improvisational theater is an unprepared, unrehearsed performance theater created collaboratively in the moment, without a script. Improvisers learn to listen deeply, accept and build on ideas, make bold choices, and create characters, relationships, and stories together.
No previous improv experience is required. Improv 101 is for people interested in performance, creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, intercultural connection, or simply rediscovering the joy of play. It is also valuable for improvisers who have taken individual workshops or gained performance experience but have never completed a structured foundational curriculum, or wish to explore the Zmack style of Character-Driven Relationship-Based Intercultural Improv Scenework.
