What happens when the American Revolution arrives at your doorstep? In a small Hudson Valley town, neighbors wonder: Is it madness to take on the British? Is victory even possible?

One man says “yes”—and sets off with the revolutionary militia. But his journey doesn’t unfold the way history books tell it. Inspired by Washington Irving’s classic Rip Van Winkle, Impossible But True reimagines the Revolution as a story of hope, doubt, ghosts, and the courage to change.

This original musical is at once spirited, haunting, and fun for the whole family—filled with rousing songs, unexpected twists, and unforgettable characters.
