Opportunities and Challenges of Implementing "The Uluru Statement from the Heart"

Thomas Mayor is a Denadth Kes man (Torres Strait Islander) who lives on Larrakia land in Darwin. He is a Maritime Union of Australia official and advocate for the "Uluru Statement from the Heart". Thomas has been involved in the whole process and taken the conversations to many local settings and organisations. His highly acclaimed book "Finding the Heart of the Nation – The Journey of the Uluru Statement towards Voice, Treaty and Truth" was published in 2019.
