This roundtable is part of a two-part series aimed to help underserved businesses overcome barriers of accessing capital.

In a resounding stride towards fostering diversity and inclusion in entrepreneurship, the Utah District Small Business Administration Office partnered with Utah Living Color and Mountain West Small Business Finance to host a transformative "Implementing Solutions Roundtable." The two-part series commenced with the insightful "Seeking Solutions" session in April 2023, uniting federal and state partners, small business support organizations, lenders, and underserved businesses.Continuing the momentum, the October 20th Implementing Solutions event will explore actionable steps arising from the initial talks. Notably, the creation of the Utah Small Business Alliance which aims to support underserved entrepreneurs through collaborative efforts among lenders, support organizations, and governments. During the event there will be a panel discussion featuring organizations who are official Steering Committee members of the new Utah Small Business Alliance: <ul><li>S﻿idni, Shorter, Black Chamber of Commerce</li><li>Alyn Toalepai, Pacific Islander Chamber</li><li>Luna Banuri, Utah Muslim Civic League</li><li>Juan Pascua,	Utah Hispanic Chamber</li><li>Marla Trollan, Utah Small Business Administration </li><li>John Evans, Mountain West Small Business Finance</li></ul>Special guest, SBA Regional Administrator, Aikta Marcoulier will also share a few remarks on efforts to better supporting underserved business owners. This event will take these crucial conversations to the next level and focus on deliberating the solutions identified, assess the initiatives that have already been set in motion, and chart the course for forthcoming strategies.
