About this event

  • 2 hours

Join us as we explore “Nature’s Future is Our Future,” a public art exhibit created by the Nature Conservancy that imagines two possible future Californias: one in which we’ve invested in nature’s ability to protect us, and one that’s left nature behind. We’ll reflect on this exhibit by facilitating small-group discussions to build connection between community members and inspire imaginative approaches to climate storytelling.

We’ll meet in Golden Gate Park, on JFK Drive close to the corner of 16th Ave and Fulton. Bring picnic blankets to sit on and a notebook to write in. Kids and pets are welcome.

If you’d like to immerse yourself in imagining climate futures in a gentle and human way, we recommend the podcast We Are The Great Turning, a series of multi-generational conversations between Joanna Macy and Jess Serrante.
