<h3>Digital Making with Python and Raspberry Pi</h3>For students who have taken our intro to physical computing class, Intro to Raspberry Pi, or already have some coding experience. In this class students will explore some of the more advanced capabilities of the Raspberry Pi, such as controlling motors as well as learning how to create music with code using Sonic Pi. Students will also learn how to write Python programs that modify and interact with Minecraft Pi.<ul><li>This class is taught by Sean Raser, California High School AP Computer Science Teacher</li><li>Class Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a break for snack</li><li>Class Dates: Tuesday (1/4/2022) through Thursday (1/6/2022)</li><li>Location: California High School</li><li>Grades: 6th - 9th grade students</li><li>Cost: $180 for class plus $10 for supplies, materials and consumables</li></ul>HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL: The health and safety of our students, staff, their families, and the community at large is our top priority. SRVEF is following the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Contra Costa Health Services. Guidelines will be strictly observed. We will be updating our protocols and procedures as guidelines change.REFUND, CANCELLATION and WAITLIST POLICIES: Refunds will be allowed up until 2 weeks before the first day of class and will incur a $25 processing fee. After this time, no refunds will be granted. If a class is cancelled by SRVEF Imagineering, you will be given the option to transfer registration to a similar class or receive a full refund. The waitlist will be handled in order until 24 hours before the event. At that time if a spot becomes available, the entire wait list will be notified at the same time and the first to respond will be offered the spot. <h2></h2>
