The 2024 Imagination Lunchbox International Film Festivals (ILIFF and ILI Children's Film fest) return with the Imagination Lunchbox Basketball Tournament to be held Saturday September 28 at the Druid Hill Park Courts in Baltimore. The basketball games seek to get teens and adult basketball lovers together for fun, games and free food for the players. Admission to all ILIFF activities is free!

The games are lead by Coach Mark Winchester. The team iwith the highest school wins the Imagination Lunchbox 2024 Basketball Tournament Award, and one player gets to play one-on-one with ILIFF/ILICFF founder Anthony Michael Hobbs for a cash prize!

The IL Basketball Tournament games, held at the Druid Hill Park Courts, was founded by Anthony Michael Hobbs, a SAG/AFTRA actor who has amassed multi-awards for his acting, most notable for his role in the Emmy Award nominated mini-series The Abolitionist which resulted in him attending hte Emmys at 9 years old, and he is a multi-award winning filmmaker with over 20 awards for his short films. Also a AAU and highschool MVP basketball player, he launched the basketball games after the Covid pandemic to get basketball players back on the courts. Hobbs is currently attending NC A&T University.

The Imagination Lunchbox film festival, and all its activities, is a community event launched to screen and award short films from around the world. The ILIFF and ILICFF events are presented by Imagination Lumnchbox, LLC, a company founded by Hobbs in 2014.

Saturday September 21, 2024 (1pm-3pmEST): ILIFF Screening and Awards held virtually via Zoom.

Sunday September 22th (1pm-3pmEST): IL/Eubie Blake Filmmaking Workshops held at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center in Baltimore. Presentations by John Wesby (Wesby One Productions) executive producer at BET Networks is speaking on film production, and Ursula V. Battle (Battlestage Plays) stageplay writer/producer ("Serenity House") is speaking on casting and scriptwriting.

M on. - Fri. Sept. 23-27th (Private): ILIFF Screening and Awards at various Baltimore City middle and high schools

Saturday September 28th (1 - 3pmEST): Imagination Lunchbox Basketball Tournament held at Druid Hill Park Courts. Both teens and adults play for the fun, for the IL Best Players Award, and a chance to play founder Anthony Hobbs for a cash prize!

Sunday September 29th (1 - 3pmEST): The Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Auditions held virtually, powered by Zoom, where artists (actors, comedians, dancers, singers, songwriters) perform before a panel of talent and management agencies. It is presented in partnership with the Vanguard Affinity Group.
