Class Description:Looking to get started in photography, or wanting to level up your skills? This class is designed to help you master the basic features of your DSLR or Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. This class is open to Interchangeable lens cameras made by Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji. If you have a different camera brand, please reach out to us directly before registering to confirm if this class will be a good fit for your camera.Some of the topics that are covered:<ul><li>Basic care and handling of your gear</li><li>Menu navigation</li><li>Understanding how and when to use automatic or scene modes</li><li>Taking more control in programmable modes</li><li>Basic overview of ISO and Autofocus settings</li></ul>By the end of the session, you’ll have a better understanding of how to get the best results from your camera and discover which accessories can enhance your photography, helping you to capture stunning images.Please note: While we always aim to end our classes on time, they are hands-on and interactive, with allotted time for questions and discussion. Because of this, sessions (especially the first one) may occasionally run a little over the scheduled end time.Do I need to pre-register?Yes, we have limited seating, so pre-registration is required. We will do our best to get to as many as your questions as we can.</li><li>Be sure to bring your camera, lens, charged battery, and memory card. Having these with you will help you follow along with the presentation, take test photos, and address any camera-specific questions you may have!</li></ul>
