IIH CHAMP FOUNDATION is hosting it's 1st annual Gala fundraiser to raise awareness for a rare condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension also known as IIH is a condition where the pressure in the skull increases for no obvious reason. Symptoms mimic a brain tumor, but no tumor is present.May include headache behind the eyes, ringing in the ears in time with heartbeat and brief episodes of blindness. It requires a medical diagnosis through the use of tests such as MRI/CT.
This event will be held at The Elmcrest Banquets from 6p-12a. There will be a live band, DJ and open bar. There's plenty of free parking in both parking lots.
