Course Description: Older Adult Sensitivity Training (OAST) is a 2-hour interactive training program for individuals who are interested in learning about the specific needs and challenges of older adults in the community. During this workshop, participants will experience sensory changes associated with aging through virtual activities. In addition, they will embody a senior with macular degeneration and high frequency hearing loss through a virtual reality exercise. Participants will be able to see the world through the eyes of the senior client and gain an understanding of the challenges associated with these limitations. OAST will provide participants with valuable tools and information for working and interacting with older adults.

Cognitive Impairments and Behavioral Health
Classes are held via Zoom. Zoom links will be sent through email from Eventbrite 2 days, 2 hours, and 10 minutes before your event. Zoom links will also be posted on the Online Event Page the day of the event. You can join through your browser or download the Zoom app.
