About this event

Join us for hands-on fun with Robotics and STEM.

IHMC’s 2025 Summer Robotics Camp offers the opportunity to learn about robotics. This camp is very hands-on, and will feature computer programming and robotics with LEGO Mindstorms along with some exposure to the Python programming language. Students will further develop their teamwork skills, confidence in problem solving, and creativity. Campers will also hear short presentations about state-of-the-art research at IHMC, and they will have the opportunity to eat lunch with an IHMC research scientist or a Lockheed Martin engineer, in small groups. For many students this is their first opportunity to meet a STEM professional in an informal setting.

No prior experience with programming or robotics is required - each student will work at their own pace.

The camp fee is $225. Full financial assistance may be available for qualified candidates, based on need. Lunch is optional, and can be added for $45. (For those receiving financial assistance, lunch will be included.) Students can also opt to bring their own lunch.

Camp takes place July 7-10, from 9 am to 3:00 pm at IHMC in downtown Ocala. Join us if you're interested in STEM or curious whether hands-on STEM might be fun for you.
