iFLY Loudon STEM Showcase for Teachers and Educators

iFLY invites you to experience how flying accelerates learning with our STEM Education Program. During this exclusive event for professionals in the education industry, come see how our state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel inspires students with the power of science. We will explore the STEM principles behind our wind tunnel technology through exciting lectures, featuring live demos, test flights, lab activities and light refreshments.

What is the agenda of the event?

• 5:30pm: Arrival and Check In

• 6:00pm: STEM Workshop & Physics Demonstration

• 6:30pm: Flight Class

• 7:00pm: Fly!

• 7:30pm: Q&A with Educator

• 8:00pm Departure

*STEM Educator available throughout the evening for further questions.

Q) Are there ID requirements or an age/physical limit to enter the event?

A) Yes, teachers and school administrators interested in a FREE Flight must bring a School ID or form stating they are part of an educational institution. Q) What can/can't I bring to the event?

A) Please wear comfortable clothing and lace up shoes if you are planning to fly.

Q) Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

A) Yes, you may transfer your ticket to another person in your organization or colleague.

Q) Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A) Not required, but it will be helpful.

Q) The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

A) Yes, as long as someone from your organization has referred you.

Q) WHAT is iFLY?

A) iFLY Indoor skydiving is the simulation of true free fall conditions in a vertical wind tunnel. It’s where the dream of flight becomes a reality.
