About this event

Suffolk LMC would like to welcome you to the Bury St Edmunds GPC England Roadshow.

This is a free event to be held on the evening of 17th July at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds and will be open to all GPs in the area.

Please arrive for a 18:30 registration, to start at 19:00. We will finish by 21:30. Join us to hear face to face from the national GPC England team:

· Hear about phase one of GP action starting with a ballot of GP Partners from 17 June - 29 July.

· Listen to expert KC opinion on the risks associated with any action, and why what we are proposing will be safe for you, your staff, your business, and your patients

· See the vision, strategy and aims for the months ahead leading up to and after the general election

What to expect?

· A chance to discuss and debate with other peers, understand the ballot and what is safe action for you as a contract holder.

· Meet local BMA officers and join the BMA with your first 3 months of membership free, and collect your campaign materials to take back to the practice

· All key General Practice staff are very welcome

· After briefings there will be plenty of time for questions and wider discussions around our next steps, over the short, medium, and long term.
