IEP PROCESS

About the Workshop:

Participants will focus on writing legally compliant IEPs within federal and state regulations.

Anticipated Outcomes:

1.  Participants will identify correct forms within EmbraceIEP to write legally compliant IEPs.

2.  Participants will write clear Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance.

3.  Participants will develop measurable goals and objectives based upon Present Levels.

4.  Participants will develop acccommodations and/or modifications based upon Present Levels.

5.  Participants will write courses the student will participate in based upon student's individual needs.

6.  Participants will write possible harmful effects for at least 3 possible placements to consider for the student.
