IDM Showcase 2017

MAGNET is where art meets technology.We perform research that is implicitly interdisciplinary and outward-facing, working with departments and programs from NYU Engineering, CUSP, and NYU in partnership with outside organizations ranging from city agencies to performing arts centers to non-profit organizations. Our goals in research are to combine the best of experimental practices in the creative and scientific community to create synergistic areas of inquiry that look at media as a creative practice in an engineering context. The BxmC is located at NYU's Media and Games Network (MAGNET).

Integrated Digital Media students are designers by trade and creators by nature.
We're very proud to showcase our talented students at the end of every Spring. Friends and family (along with some select guests, companies, and impressive artists abound) are invited to join us in celebrating the culmination of students' hard work.
Part live performance, part technology demo, the Integrated Digital Media Showcase features work by genre-bending designers, artists and technologists studying at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. This work is experimental, highly technical, and simply cool!
Come on May 5th to be immersed in numerous amazing projects-- films, interactive designs, games, music, and more-- all made by our talented students!
 Snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (for 21+) provided!
