IDEA StatiCa Users Day 2018

IDEA StatiCa develops and sells software for structural engineers/consultants, construction authorities and all others who perform/evaluate/use structural analysis and design of constructions and their members. Our development team researches, tests and applies new methods of structural analysis. Based on it, we create IDEA StatiCa products – enabling engineers to work faster and more accurately, construction companies to use the optimal amount of material and construction authorities/checkers to evaluate requirements of the national code quickly and thoroughly. For us, creating top-class software is a way to contribute to making every new construction around the world safer and cheaper.

It’s been 4 years now that IDEA StatiCa has been introduced to the engineering world, and it has already made a huge impact on the way that Structural engineers analyse and design Steel connections, offering a true revolution and significant advantages on time-saving, productivity, and safety of steel structures. It quickly became very popular among consulting engineers and steel fabricators across the UK and is already used by some of the biggest names in the industry: ARUP, Mott MacDonald, Ramboll, BuroHappold, William Hare, Caunton Engineering, and many others.
As more consulting firms and Steel fabricators are implementing it in their design workflows, there is an increasing demand to educate the UK engineers about this exciting new technology.  This lead us to the decision to organize our first IDEA StatiCa Users day in the UK, a full day event that will bring together users from all over the UK, our partners and the management team of IDEA StatiCa, and will give the participants the opportunity to be informed about the latest developments, meet our team, discuss future developments and trends – and of course network!
This first User Day is the perfect way to introduce for the first time IDEA StatiCa Detail, one more innovative approach for the design/check of Concrete discontinuity regions, a solution that was developed in cooperation with the University of Zurich.  Also, in cooperation with people from Trimble/TEKLA who is honouring us with their presence, we are going to present for the first time the link with Tekla Structural Designer, and the improved link with Tekla Structures.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The nearest tube stations are: Barbican (Metropolitan & City lines), and Old Street (Northern line)
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, it would help a lot the registration process during your arrival. 
 
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you can.
 
Can I bring a friend?
Of course you can, but he/she needs to register too since spaces are limited. We will only accept delegates without registration, only if there are available seats before the event starts.
