MODERN CONCRETE FLOOR TREATMENTS (1 hour = 1 AIA/HSW Credit)
A. Membrane Forming Treatments - This portion of the program discusses membrane
forming floor treatment options such as acrylic sealers, epoxy coatings and urethane
coatings. It is designed to provide the owner’s representative with the tools needed to
evaluate these different systems against each other, based on their basic polymer resin
technologies.
B. Penetrating Treatments - This portion of the program discusses penetrating floor
treatments such as liquid densifiers used for ground and polished concrete and/or
sealing and hardening of high wear industrial floors.
C. Floor Treatment Technology Comparison -During this section of the program, a
frank discussion is had comparing one basic technology to another with regards to
such categories as installed cost, actual wear resistance, stain resistance, chemical
