It's time to find Icky. Are you ready?
Come support and celebrate Nevada's latest beastly discoveries, including unnamed creatures, completely new to science, while enjoying brews, food, games, live music and more.
Great Basin Brewing Co. is proud to host the third annual, Beers & Beasts party and the release of a truly beastly Hazy IPA, the Hazyosaur.
Dr. P. Martin Sander from Bonn University in Germany will present a riveting tale, sharing the newest findings and reveal information about recent discoveries, including what might just be a missing link between species found over 250 million year ago.

While expanding your mind, imbibe your body with Great Basin Brewing Co.'s new release, the Hazyosaur IPA and some of our favorites from the brewery's kitchen. What delicious food offerings will we have this year? We went with a pulled pork sandwich and caprese sandwich, each coming with a side of macaroni and cheese. 
There will be games, like Pin the Tail on the Ichthyosaur and the Icky Icky Shake, along with some great prizes, live music and other lively entertainment.
Along with Great Basin Brewing Co., sponsors of this expedition include; The University of Bonn, DFG German Research Foundation, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the National Geographic Society, and the German Research Foundation.
This event is limited to the first 350 people and will sell out. Please RSVP on Eventbrite to reserve your spot and receive a free Great Basin Brewing Co. commemorative pint glass. A suggested $10 donation will be collected at the door to help support upcoming expeditions and the preservation of new fossils.
