Frequently asked questions

What is ICF construction?

Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction involves stacking forms that have 2 layers of EPS foam held together by plastic webs with a 6 inch channel in between. After the forms are stacked to form your exterior walls, concrete is poured in the channel to give you a 6 inch concrete core.

Why should I choose ICF?

ICF construction gives you a build that can withstand 250 MPH winds and 100 MPH impacts, while being up to 70% more energy efficient, pest resistant, water resistant, sound resistant, and a fire protectant.

How much more will this cost me?

In the 9 years we have been building exclusively ICF projects, we have never seen the cost be more than 10% higher than the highest quality stick-built home. This cost difference will be made back in no time with your energy savings.
