About this event

ICE ALS

Join us for a fun-filled day Aug 25th from 1-7pm at the Community 1st Champion Center to support a great cause! Family fun activities raise awareness & funds for ALS research & cure. This event has been created by Andy Weyker (current ALS patient) and his family and friends, working towards a goal of raising $50,000 for ALS research and awareness.

Did you know ALS is 100% FATAL? And the highest incidence per capita in the USA is in the Fox Valley area? Also, veterans have a 6-10x greater chance of developing ALS. See info below for more information about ALS.

If you or an immediate family member have ALS, you may enter FREE! Also, for anyone who knows someone who has been affected by or died of ALS, we are asking for you to share about it on a little paper "ice-cube" that will be given to you upon entrance to the ICE ALS event to place on an ICE-SHANTY (which will be up for grabs in the SILENT AUCTION!) This will help show how widespread the impact of ALS is on our Northeast Wisconsin Community.

Whether you know someone affected by ALS or not, this is for a great cause - and you will have so much fun too! Grab your friends and family to make a difference. See you there!

How does the Ice Bucket Challenge work?

Use the pledge sheet above to collect pledges from people you know to reach the dollar amount you set as a goal (example $100).
