IBCLC Pathways

Réka Morvay is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a childbirth educator with over 10 years of experience. She provides clinical services at Memorial Hospital of Gardena and at Good Samaritan Hospital's Lactation Resource Center. She teaches hospital staff, lactation educators and IBCLC candidates through BreastfeedLA. She is based in Orange County with her private practice,OC Lactation Consultant.  She has been working with pregnant and breastfeeding women since 2007, and in that time has worked in various settings, including hospital inpatient, community clinic and hospital outpatient, and private practice settings as a lactation consultant and childbirth educator, providing direct patient care and staff education.In the past, Réka has worked for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Providence Little Company of Mary, and the Inland Empire Breastfeeding Coalition.She holds a Masters degree in Psychology from Cornell University and was trained as a cognitive-behavior therapist in Europe.She is also a trained birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator.
