Barry Saunders Visiting Professional and documentary film producer Barb Lee ’88 will talk about documentary filmmaking — what it is, what it’s not and how it’s changing. Lee will also talk about documentary forms, distribution and if you can really make a living in the story form.

This event will include a boxed lunch to take with you after the event is over.

The Saunders Visiting Professionals program was established in 2018 at UNC Hussman to enrich the diversity of perspectives for the school's students by bringing top professionals in residence.

Lee is the founder and president of Point Made Films, a documentary film production company focused on telling stories about the many layers of American identity. She is also the founder and president of Point Made Learning, which creates and offers organizations anti-discrimination products and services based in storytelling.
