I Rise: A Juneteenth Craft Event
Spend your Juneteenth in celebration, reflection, and creation. In this special workshop, we’ll craft mosaic frames from glass tiles—bright, bold, and full of intention. Each frame will hold a small clay planter or propagation tube, symbolizing growth, change, and the beauty of starting from seed. It’s a space to honor our ancestors, resilience, dream big, and make something meaningful with your hands and your community. Come as you are—all materials and good vibes provided.

Where are you located?

We’re in the heart of Takoma Park, MD—just a couple of blocks from the metro with easy parking nearby.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope. All materials are provided. Just bring yourself and a little creativity.

Is this workshop beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. All skill levels are welcome—this is about creative play, not perfection.

What’s the age range?

How many people will be there?

Our space is intentionally cozy—we cap most workshops at 8 participants to keep it intimate and relaxed.

What’s the cancellation policy?

If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, we’ll issue a full refund. After that, we’ll try our best to fill your spot and offer credit, but we can’t guarantee a refund.

Is this space accessible for individuals with mobility disabilities?

Unfortunately, we're located in an old building with no elevator. The stairs may prove to much for individuals using walking canes or walkers and the room is inaccessible to wheelchair users.
