About this event

  • 8 hours

Are you a licensed mental health clinician who is ready to take your OCD treatment skills to the next level? Join I-CBT at SEA™ with clinical therapist and trainer, Cari Whittenburg, LCSW, for a 4 night Western Caribbean cruise sailing from Galveston, Texas with a port of call in Cozumel, Mexico. You will earn 8 CEs* taking a deep dive into the ins and outs of Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), an innovative approach for treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, all while you take a break from the hustle and bustle of your everyday. Trainings will be held on the mornings of at sea days, so you will have plenty of time to network, enjoy the ship, and explore Mexico.

Don't miss out on this chance to enhance your skills and knowledge in a beautiful seaside setting. See you on the ship!

*ASWB and NBCC CEs pending approval.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price of the cruise included in this purchase?

No, the price listed is for the training only. To make cruise reservations through our Travel Planner at a discounted rate please visit https://ocdrevolution.com/i-cbt-at-sea and click on "Book the Cruise" to see the available stateroom options and prices.

I will be attending the training alone. Will there be rooms available for single occupancy?

Kinda :) While the rooms rates are based on double occupancy, we anticipate several travelers attending who will want to share a stateroom to cut costs. If this describes you, please email sarahcanzano@mousecounselors.com to be paired with another solo traveler.

Will this training cover an introductory overview of OCD?

No, this training is for clinicians who have a working knowledge of OCD. It will cover how to treat it using I-CBT specifically. However, if you are new to treating OCD you can always learn more as you go. It's a complicated disorder that requires a commitment to learning its sneaky presentations.
