To my great surprise, the first night sold out in 36 hours. As such, i am pleased to announce a second night with Mycock!
Andy Mycock’s life is punctuated by friends and strangers making comments about his unfortunate surname. Like many born with or who have married people with surnames suggesting sexual innuendo, Andy has found daily acts such as phoning the bank or meeting new people both hilarious and fraught. His ‘funny’ surname has impacted on job hunting and meeting a partner and even naming his pet cat. Andy presents a humorous talk (à la Dave Gorman) about living with his surname, drawing on a lifetime of amusing collected material and anecdotes. He will go on his own journey of trying to find peace with a surname that has drawn laughter since birth and explore how Mycocks around the world live with their surname.
