I love lemons. I enjoy fresh lemonade, lemon-flavored desserts, and slices of lemon in beverages. And I love knowing that lemons can also improve my mood!
That's the kind of God we serve. He is an amazing Creator! Only He could build so many sweet purposes into something so sour.
It makes me think of the saying: “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.”
In some ways, that's a simple explanation of the the truth contained in Romans 8:28:
“God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

When something in life turns sour, God is able to use it for something sweet.
