HYBRID 40 is a functional fitness race built around the 8 classic stations — testing strength, engine, grit and pacing over 40 minutes of work.

Perfect for:

  • People who love Hyrox but don’t enjoy running
  • Strength athletes wanting a new challenge
  • Beginners wanting to try a race environment
  • Anyone looking for a fun, supportive event atmosphere

Whether you’re competing hard or just giving it a go, this event is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and accessible to all fitness levels.


The Format

  • 8 functional stations
  • 4 minutes work at each station
  • 1 minute to rest/transition
  • Max effort at every station
  • Total work time: 40 minutes

Your reps/metres at each station will be recorded on your score card which you can keep and use to try and beat next time!

  • Burpee Broad Jumps
  • Row Erg
  • Farmer Carry
  • Sandbag Lunges
  • Wall Balls

All stations use official race standards and weights.
