Amber Walker is a Software Engineer on the Tax Setup team at Gusto. Since starting as an intern, she’s been here for 3 years, and recently led a project allowing Gusto to more efficiently comply with the various registration requirements of state unemployment agencies. When she’s not working, she can be found baking or playing a variety of video games and board games.

Annie Pennel recently joined Gusto as a Design Systems Engineer. She is passionate about improving the Internet and its impact by building performant and accessible applications. When she’s not busy advocating for ethical web development, she enjoys rollerskating on her pink mini ramp, hyper-focusing on jigsaw puzzles, and backyard bird-watching.

Deepali Jain is the co-founder and CTO of Assembly, an internal AI engineering knowledge assistant. Before Assembly, she worked as a software engineer at Convoy and JP Morgan where she worked on the carrier network efficiency team and the loans banking team respectively. At UC Berkeley, she studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and has been dabbling in startups since then. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and trying out new hobbies - like pottery!

Nancy Wang is a product & engineering executive, advisor, and investor with significant experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and SaaS. Nancy advises Fortune 10 companies on accelerating revenue growth, and she advises startups on attracting their first 100K enterprise customers. She is a Venture Partner with Felicis Ventures, where she invests in early-stage startups in cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, and B2B SaaS - she also serves on the advisory board for Commvault (NASDAQ:CVLT), a leader in the data protection sector. Previously, Nancy was the Director of Product & Engineering and General Manager at Amazon Web Services, where she led P&L, product, engineering, and design for its data protection and security businesses. Before Amazon, she led SaaS product development at Rubrik, the fastest-growing enterprise software unicorn, and built healthdata.gov for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Excited to advance more women into technical roles, Nancy is the founder & board chair of Advancing Women in Tech, a global 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has already informed and educated 35,000 Coursera learners worldwide on how to get their first, or next, tech leadership role and partners with the U.S. State Department.

Shreya Shekhar is a founding engineer at Bedrock Security, a Greylock-backed and RSA Top 10 data security startup for the cloud era. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and distributed systems, and has previously interned at multiple innovative startups, including Rockset, Glean, and Abnormal Security.
