Hurricane Volleyball Club is hosting tryouts for our 15u-18u programs. Our club has National, Zonal, and Regional levels teams.

About this event

HVC will be having tryouts for 15u-18u level teams on Saturday and Sunday! We recommend and encourage that players attend both days, but if you are only able to attend one day, please let us know.

Players should bring water, wear volleyball appropriate gear (including knee pads), and be ready to put in some work for our coaches.

Saturday Schedule:

15U & 16U from 1:30-3:30PM

17U & 18U from 4:00-5:30PM

Sunday Schedule

15U & 16U from 1:00-3:00PM

17U & 18U from 3:30-5:30PM

Players will receive a response via email within a week of our tryouts. Please make sure that you have listed your preferred email for us to reach you all through.

Please make sure you answer each question in as much detail as possible!

As defined by USAV:

15u players were born on or between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009

16u players were born on or between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008

17u players were born on or between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007

18u players were born on or between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006

When and how will our athlete hear back about tryout results?

Our staff will reach out via email within one week of tryouts with offers for team spots.

Will there be a second round or chance at tryouts?

Some players from tryouts may be invited back for an additional round of tryouts. If players are invited back, they will not have any additional fee.

Can I pay at the door and register then?

Our coaches take weeks to prepare for tryouts; please complete registration prior to the event. It allows us to be best prepared for the athletes.
