Hurricane Idalia was the first major storm in our area in over 100 years, and we learned a lot! This class helps you prepare to ensure your family, pets and home are safe. We'll cover:

• Hurricane forecasting terms
• Preparing a hurricane survival kit
• Security your home and property
• Handling a power outage and keeping food & water safe
• Medical emergencies
• Storm aftermath and resources to help

This free class is open to the public and held at the Suwannee County Extension office.
