Description

Ferial Rewoldt is chef and owner of HumusFalafil, a local business that produces classic Mediterranean food, with influences ranging from Turkey, to Egypt, to North Africa, & Greece. She emigrated from Lebanon to Ann Arbor, MI in 1976 to study, and went on to work at University of Michigan as a Registered Nurse for 30 years. After she retired, she decided to start her food business to share foods from the Mediterranean where she grew up with her local community. It brings her great joy. :) Her prepared foods are available at many local markets, including here at Argus Farm stop.

This event gives us a private look into how she prepares one of her famous dishes. Join us for a cooking demonstration led by Ferial. She will walk us through the steps of making Spinach-cheese Pie.
