PFHTA Members are invited to attend this free PFHTA fall seminar on Wednesday, November 14th at the Courtyard by Marriott Pigeon Forge.  This three (3) hour seminar covers the following topics and is offered in both the morning and afternoon sessions allowing PFHTA members and employees the flexibility to attend either session based on work schedule availability.
Human Resource Essentials
1. Stay Connected! (1-1/2 hrs)
Is your organization challenged with strengthening your talent pipeline, attracting the best talent and retaining that talent? Examine why employer branding is important, discover Tanger Outlets award winning branding strategy and learn how to let your culture drive your employment strategy for your organization
2. Reinventing Interviewing (1-1/2 hrs)
Have you experienced high turnover, costly hiring mistakes or frustrations from your new hires? Selecting the wrong hire costs the company thousands and negatively affects the company’s morale and productivity. Elevate your interviewing strategy by tapping into different resources and tools that lead you to a successful hire.
 
Both of the following topics will be covered in the morning and afternoon sessions allowing PFHTA members and employees the flexibility to attend either session based on work schedule availability
Time:   Two sessions.(pick one)
-   8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
-   1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m.
-   Reservations required through Eventbrite by Thursday November 8th at 4:00 pm
-   3 employees per business, maximum 35 attendees (per session)
 
Cost:  As a member benefit, this training is FREE to PFHTA Members (Registration Required, follow link)
A waitlist/non-member ticket has been created for anyone  who would like to attend but, is not a current member of the PFHTA. Space is not guaranteed. Non-member Cost is $75 per attendee.  Waitlist attendees will be notified by email by 11/9/18, should space become available.

Primary focus on employment branding, talent acquisition, HR talent development, operational workflow and project management.
Create and develop strategic employer branding, talent acquisition and onboarding plan necessary to attract and retain an effective workforce.
Direct and manage the administrative workflow of the department, which encompass talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, HRIS, benefits, recordkeeping/compliance and project management, ensuring conformity with Human Resources operational objectives.
Formulate and recommend employee based performance improvement plans to achieve the overall objectives for the organization. Evaluate potential solutions, implement, coach and counsel managers. Work with employees to resolve workplace conflicts and provide effective solutions to maintain effective employee relations throughout the organization.
Create and execute projects that add value to the changing needs of the organization.
