PFHTA Members are invited to attend this free PFHTA spring seminar on Wednesday, March 20th at the Hilton Garden Inn Pigeon Forge.  This three (3) hour seminar covers the following topics and is offered in both the morning and afternoon sessions allowing PFHTA members and employees the flexibility to attend either session based on work schedule availability.
Human Resource Essentials 2.0 (3 hrs)
Topics:
1. Engagement &amp; Onboarding (1 hour)
Title: For Your Hard-Working Ways, You Deserve Some Praise
Are you using your culture as a competitive advantage? Discover the link between onboarding, recognition, rewards, and engagement. Learn how to establish robust onboarding and recognition programs to engage and retain employees from day 1.
2. Career Development/Succession Planning (1 hour)
Title: Dream On
Do you have employees who dream of moving to the next level? Are some of your employees’ individual contributors who are satisfied in their current role? Develop strategies to help your team succeed no matter what their dream is.
3. Coaching, Performance Management, Disciplinary, Terminations (1 hour)
Title: Don’t Stop Believin’
Do you coach your employees to achieve optimal performance? What tools do you use to develop your core and top talent? Are you equipped to discharge an employee without veering off-track? Learn how to tackle challenging situations with confidence. Don’t stop believin’ in your ability to lead your team to success.
 
Date: Wednesday, March 20, 2019
 
Time:   Two sessions.(pick one/same topics covered in each session)
Morning: -   8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
Afternoon: -   1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m.
-   Reservations required through Eventbrite - Extended to: Monday, March 18, 2019 
-   3 employees per business, maximum 35 attendees (per session)
Cost:  As a member benefit, this training is FREE to PFHTA Members (Registration Required, follow link)
Human Resource Essentials 1.0 completion is not required. 
A waitlist/non-member ticket has been created for anyone  who would like to attend but, is not a current member of the PFHTA. Space is not guaranteed. Non-member Cost is $75 per attendee.  Waitlist attendees will be notified by email by 3/15/19, should space become available.
