HUETIFUL is a community block party celebrating black culture with a free community fish fry, black vendors and interactive performances.
West End HUETIFUL is a community celebration of Black culture, creativity, and history in Charlotte’s Historic West End.
Guests can enjoy a free community fish fry, shop and support Black-owned vendors , watch artists create artwork live, and take part in interactive experiences including Double Dutch, community line dancing, dance performances, music and kids’ craft table.
The celebration also includes an interactive Black history exhibit at Johnson C. Smith University’s James B. Duke Memorial Library from 2–3 PM, open to the public.
HUETIFUL brings neighbors, families, businesses, artists, and visitors together to celebrate the culture, traditions, creativity, and community of the Historic West End.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
