About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Your DNA can tell you a lot about yourself, including the areas of the world that your ancestors hailed from as well as how much of your DNA recipe book is shared with someone else. By 2019, an estimated 26 million people had undergone ancestry-related genetic testing, driven by the availability of relatively inexpensive and simple at-home testing options. This HudsonAlpha U Wiregrass event will explore the field of ancestry genetics and how genetic testing can help unlock details about the past. This event will also highlight recent research and news stories that highlight ethical and social considerations involved in ancestry genetics.

Join us on Monday, June 17th at 5:30 PM at the ATTA Library of STEM and History..
