HTTP Hacks
Hackathon open to all BCIT students.
Summary
BCIT Downtown Campus’ Computing Club is hosting HTTP Hacks, a low-stakes, fun-focused hackathon on March 20th-21st. BCIT students from all programs, levels, and campuses are welcome! Come network with fellow students, learn new skills, and build a project for your resume.
We want to get you all as excited about hackathons as we are by making this one as entertaining as possible. Come build a game or a creative life hack that would make your life easier. Expect lots of prizes and surprises! Participants will have access to Raspberry Pi and LEGO NXT Mindstorm 2.0 on a first come, first serve basis.
You’re welcome to form your own group or come solo and we’ll help you build a team. This is a great opportunity to make some new friends outside the classroom. Keep in mind that prizes are designed for teams of no more than 4 people.
If you are interested in dropping by as a mentor (instead of registering as a participant) sometime during the main event on Saturday, March 21st, we would love to hear from you. Please send us an email!
