asked the dreaded “Tell me about yourself,” question at an interview for a job about
which you’re totally excited. You have 90-seconds, or in today’s world, probably 45 –
and you need to make a good impression. You need to communicate:

• What you do
• Experience
• The hook (why they should care)
• What you want

Cyndi Camarillo is a seasoned executive sourcer/recruiter with over 20 years of experience in the medical, financial and public sector industries. She currently leads the Recruitment Strategy efforts at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, where she
has successfully launched new recruitment avenues and significantly increased applicant traffic. Cyndi holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian education and is a self-proclaimed Career Coach. Her expertise includes strategic planning, content creation, and driving state employment awareness through community outreach, engagement and educational campaigns.

Cherie Anderson is a learning and development professional and Chief Experience officer of Dream Lab. She has worked in Fortune 500 companies and start-ups to create learning experiences that transform leaders and lead to bottom-line results. She is also a former client of Crossroads.
