Howlin' Hound

The Cakehound is an all natural gourmet bakery for dogs located in Columbus, Ohio. The owner and Pawstry Chef Teresa Jacques took everything she learned from her 8 years cheffing at Three Dog Bakery Columbus and started fresh. The Cakehound officially launched October 2018 after hours of working out recipes, testing, and getting approved by the Department of Agriculture. We specialize in human grade treats including: cookies, cupcakes and cakes that make your pups wiggle with excitment!

Trick or Treat doesn't have to be just for the 2 legged kind! Come to the Short North and trick or treat with your furry friend! This event begins at Bar 23 where you can shop all the ghoulish treat selections from The Cakehound, swag from Adopt61fur, & capture the moment with a photo by All Paws Retreat - Columbus, OH in one of their amazing back drops! 
Costume contest details: Prizes will go to the cutest costume, scariest & best group (human & pup). Pics will be posted after the event on the All Paws Retreat - Columbus, OH facebook page so be sure to check them out and "like" to get votes! 
PetPromise, Inc. Will be joining in on the fun with some of their adoptable dogs so be sure to stop and say hello! A portion of Cakehound's event sales will be donated so definitely do some shopping.. every little bit counts! 
Pups will check in, collect their treat map and whenever you're ready, venture out to Howl up High Street. Each participating business will give a cookie to each ticketed pup. Make sure to take advantage of the afternoon and shop, eat, enjoy! 
Bar 23 patio will be open to any and all who want to stay and enjoy drinks and food during and after the event! Their patio is dog friendly! 
Costumes are highly encouraged! When selecting your ticket simply choose which time slot you'd prefer. One ticket per hound! Please well behaved dogs only and no retractable leashes! 
This event is rain or shine.
