How Very Queer: The Music of LGBTQIA+ Composers

Celebrate NYC Pride at Roulette Intermedium with a night of incredible artistry and talent from the LGBTQIA+ community! BLC3Music + iconiQ Strings perform the groundbreaking works of famously (and not-so-famously) queer and transgender composers & songwriters: Tchaikovsky, Kim Petras, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Ma Rainey, and more. Hosted by "The Campy Killer Queen" Angela Mansberry, the 90-minute orchestra concert will feature Saúl Nache (Hip Hop Cinderella), and a special performance of "After the Flowers" by singer-songwriter & drag artist Hassan.

A pre-show drag performance will open the evening.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds can be made directly through Eventbrite ticketing system. You may cancel your ticket(s) up to 24 hours before the advertised start time.

Is this an 21+ event? Are children allowed?

As alcohol will be available to purchase, attendees under 18 years of age are permitted entry with a responsible adult 18 year of age or older. All attendees require a ticket and a seat.

Will food and/or drink be available at the venue?

Yes - alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are available for purchase courtesy of Roulette Intermedium. No outside food is permitted in the venue.

How long is the concert?

The pre-show drag show is around 25 minutes. The music concert is 1 hour and 45 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.

Is there an intermission?

Yes - there will be a 15-minute intermission.

How is the theater seating?

Seating is by general admission only. Doors open at 7pm. There is traditional theatre-style seating (facing the stage). All ticketed attendees are entitled to a seat. Limited cabaret/table seating is available. The venue is fully ADA compliant for attendees requiring assistance.
