Description

Most shows take years to grow big enough to attract real advertiser dollars, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't think about monetization sooner. Even if your audience is still limited, your expertise and content still have value. Hear Sergei Revzin (Venture Associate at the Entrepreneurial Institute) & Vadim Revzin (Founder of School16), co-hosts of The Mentors podcast, talk about how they leveraged their small but growing show to generate side income, and create big professional opportunities in just their first year.

During this session, we will cover:

1) How to leverage your show to get large press opportunities.
2) How to get paid for live events.
3) How to make residual income from your content.

About the speaker: Sergei Revzin is a Venture Associate for the NYU Innovation Venture Fund where he leads all technology investments. He is also a co-host of The Mentors podcast, and has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs through his work as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at national nonprofit Venture for America where he ran the organization's accelerator and first venture fund. Prior to this, Sergei was a founder and early employee at several high growth startups.

Attendees will receive a calendar invite with Zoom dial-in instructions after registering for the event (if you RSVP less than 3 hours before the event, you will receive instructions 30 minutes prior to the event).

Please note that current students & faculty will be required to show NYU ID. Alumni and the general public may purchase tickets to specific Startup School events when available.

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email carol.ourivio@nyu.edu for assistance.
