What is your refund policy?

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days prior to the event. The ticket amount will be refunded to the original payment method, minus Eventbrite charges.

Is the event space handicap accessible?

Yes. There is access for wheelchairs from the North Street entrance, and please request any other accommodations that might be needed by contacting the Paramita Center Southeast

What about parking?

Free parking is available surrounding the Thrive building.

Are children welcome?

Children are always welcome, and we simply ask that parents be mindful of potential disruptions.

Do I have to be Buddhist to attend?

Not at all. At the Paramita Centers we teach from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective, but everyone is welcome and anyone can benefit from the meditation methods we will discuss and teach and using them does not require you to adopt a specific belief system.

Will there be chairs?

Seating is open, and there will be chairs provided for those who require or prefer them for comfort, and there will be floor space for cushions (also provided, or you can bring your own). The meditation techniques do not require you to sit cross-legged or on the floor.

Are donations tax deductible?

Yes. The Paramita Center Southeast is a 501(c)(3) non-profit approved by the IRS, incorporated as a Tennessee Nonprofit Corporation and registered as a charity with the Tennessee Secretary of State.
