How to Make Fabric and Paper Beads

Come and join me for a relaxing session making unique beads from offcuts of paper and fabric. We'll explore ways of making some different shaped beads and ways of embellishing them. You don't need any fancy tools or materials, just a few basic supplies.

You will need:

• Offcuts of paper and/or fabric. Any paper will do including magazine pages, wrapping paper and so on. Light to medium weight fabric without stretch is best for this project but feel free to experiment with other materials!
• Threads; leftover bits from other projects are perfect
• A couple of straws, wooden skewers or similar
• A ruler
• Pen or pencil
• Glue (PVA is best)
• Scissors
