How to incorporate sustainability and maintain commercial viability?

Please join us for our Talk & Reception on the 22nd of May at the Danish pavilion under the theme 'Designing for Sustainability by Denmark' at Clerkenwell Design Week.

‘Designing for Sustainability by Denmark’ is a Danish design collaborative at Paxton Locker House, which has been transformed into a curated space with 11 Danish design companies.

We will kick-off at 4pm with a welcome speech by Danish Ambassador to the UK, H.E. René Dinesen, followed by an exciting talk and panel discussion touching on varies topics such as aesthetics, functionality, commercial viability, opportunities and challenges when focussing on circularity and sustainability within design. The talk will be moderated by Majken Kalhave, Executive Director of Creative Denmark - a Danish public-private partnership, creating awareness about Danish creative strongholds internationally, and with renowned guest speaker Roddy Clarke, UK journalist specialising in interior design, as well as a panel of Danish design designers.

The talk will be followed by a reception where guests can mingle and meet the Danish design companies showcasing their sustainable designs at the house.
