About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) is another way in which the business community can support nonprofit organizations. If you are not aware of ERG's, sometimes called Business Resource Groups or Affinity Groups, it is a group of employees with a common interest who form a voluntary group at work. The seven most common interest groups are: 1) women 2.) LGBTQIA+ 3.) Disabilities 4.) Veterans 5.) Black 6.) Hispanic/Latino 7.) Pan-Asian

Upon completion of this workshop, you will know how these ERGs can support your nonprofit in the 5 T's (time, treasure, talents, testimonial, ties) and how to find the Presidents of the groups and the best way to approach them.

This will be a virtual event with interactive components allowing you to engage with the facilitator and others in the session.

Fee: $30 unless you are a Workshops Passholder in which case you attend for free. Workshps Passes are no longer available for 2025.
