What do I need to bring?

We will be taking a short walk, so we recommend comfy shoes! We will have plenty of water to refill reusable bottles (so please bring your own!) and used pairs of gloves to lend out.  If you’d like to bring a snack and a personal pair of gloves, we encourage it. All materials and supplies provided.

Where can I park?

There is very limited parking in Concrete Coyote's lot. Free street parking is available on S Royer St outside of the park's front gate. Please let us know when registering, under the "special accommodations" section, if you will require more accessible parking closer to the workshop site.

What is Concrete Coyote?

Accepted Answer

Concrete Coyote is a concrete dumping ground turned public park, ran by the nonprofit organization Concrete Couch, and which is is constantly improving through the Colorado Springs community's labors of love.

Question 4

Will I get to take home my pollinator hotel?

Accepted Answer

Yes!! The hotel that you construct through the workshop will be yours to keep. We will even provide you with information regarding hotel maintenance and how/where to install your hotel!

Will this workshop be physically demanding?

Accepted Answer

Not particularly! We will be taking a quick walk and using some beginner friendly power tools, which you will have the opportunity to either operate yourself or have one of our instructors give you a hand.
