So we decided to fix that!

At the Indie Game Academy we turn students into game devs and game devs into indie studio founders. We are on a perpetual quest to help game creatives pave their own path.

In our introductory weekend long bootcamp, we give you the very first tools you'll need to break into the game industry. Spend a total of 8 hours of live lessons learning from game professionals on multiple important topics. Learn the fundamentals of Design, Production, and the Unity Game Engine: just enough to help you get started building games regardless of your desired path.

Ever played Doodle Jump? In our weekend long intro bootcamp you'll build your very own version of that game, and get everything you need to keep working on it, or other games like it.

It's dangerous to go alone

The game industry can be daunting! That's why it's so important to find the right guide. Meet your IRL Gandalf and your number one supporter for the rest of your career, Willem Delventhal, the Headmaster of the Indie Game Academy and the Wizard of Joy. Joining him are 6 other incredible professors to total 7 live learning sessions in just one weekend!!

Collectively our professors have over 40 years of professional experience with credits including Star Wars Battlefront 2, Call of Duty, and Life by You. We love to mix it up so that you get a handful of veterans as well as some newer professors.
