Every ineffective elevator pitch is a missed business opportunity! Whether we care to admit it or not, we’re always pitching. Every time we meet someone new and answer the “what do you do” question, we are pitching. What if your story could turn every pitch into a real opportunity? The key to an effective elevator pitch is not about giving a discount, making it urgent, or how you do what you do. It is about making your pitch impactful and memorable.

An example: For years, a CPA’s pitch was “we like numbers, and we love helping our clients save money from Uncle Sam.”

Now it’s: “My father was being audited when I was nine years old. I remember standing in the doorway watching him pace back and forth trying to put his paperwork in order. The whole family was stressed out. We wanted to help him but did not know how. I guess deep down I decided in that moment I wanted to help people with their taxes. I didn’t want anyone else to have to go through that. So, regardless of whether my client gets audited or not, I make sure their paperwork is pristine and ready to go…”

This session includes:

  1. Finding your why and incorporating that into your pitch
  2. Articulating your unique value propositions to stand out from your competitors
  3. Crafting an impactful pitch to make a longer-lasting impression
