React.js is a user interface library developed by Facebook, designed specifically to solve one problem: building large applications with data that changes over time.
At Taskworld, we’ve invested in React.js since early 2015, and the result is very satisfying. We have been able to improve our development cycle and build more complex UI in less time.
In this talk we’ll present the basic concepts of React, how it compares to other current state-of-the-art libraries such as jQuery, reasons why we decided to move on to React, and problems we faced while we were adopting React.
So if you are interested in React and want to know how React can benefit your engineers and your company, this talk will give you a nice introduction and hopefully you’ll fall in love with React just like us!!

THE SPEAKERS
Thai Pangsakulyanont (@dtinth)
Thai is a JavaScript virtuoso with 10 years of JavaScript experience, mostly from his side projects. One of his biggest project is a web-based rhythm action game, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://bemuse.ninja/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bemuse</A>. He’s mainly interested in web development, web-based animations, music, and writing better software. He has published many open-source projects on GitHub. He’s now working at Taskworld as a front-end engineer.
 
Chakrit Likitkahjorn (Chris)
Chakrit is currently working as Web Developer at Taskworld and former CTO of a startup company. He has experienced in a many different computer languages and frameworks including .NET, Python, PHP, Objective-c and now working on Javascript. Chakrit is enthusiastic about programming and software development. His passion lies in using humanistic approach to lead software development process and building a great software with a great team.

Additional brief introduction to SAM pattern, a new reactive, functional pattern replacing MVC. SAM pattern oberves unidirectional data flow while single state tree and TLA+ lineage helps design and implementation of isomorphic component-based GUIs, while enforcing a strict decoupling between the View and Back-end APIs.
This brief introduction will be provided by Jean-Jacques Dubray, the founder of xgen.io and gliiph. Jean-Jacques has 15 years of experience building Service Oriented Architectures and API platforms, is a former member of the research staff at HRL, and is the inventor of BOLT of methodology and the SAM Pattern.
