UK NGO CSW Alliance in association with  The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) invites you to our event:
 How do we work internationally in post-Brexit context?
Though it remains to be seen how the UK’s exit from the European Union will impact on the national and international work of women’s organisations, it seems almost certain that negotiating strategies including those relating to CSW will change in the future. Whatever form the change may take it is vital that women’s lives in terms of employment rights, economic participation and ending violence against women and girls are preserved and improved.
Join us for a lively and informative debate building on the thinking and work already undertaken on how women’s organisations can work together to influence and shape the future for gender equality and ensure no-one is left behind. We will discuss:

<LI>what our negotiating strategies may look like;</LI>
<LI>working even closer together and ensuring we present a collective and strong voice for women;</LI>
<LI>working with sister organisations across Europe through the EWL to maintain a strong cross-Europe voice for equality and women’s rights. </LI>

Zarin Hainsworth, Chair, UK NGO CSW Alliance will chair the meeting.
 
The presentations and open forum will be followed by interactive workshops to explore in greater depth some of the issues, how to work together with other sister organisations in the UK and across Europe and share our learning, knowledge and experience. 
This part of the programme is open to women's organisations only. Please arrive at 1:00 pm for a light lunch and the programme will begin at 2pm.
For the final session we have invited  a wide variety of civil society organisations. This provides an opportunity for us to come together and build on our thinking as women's organisations, share our different perspectives and explore opportunities to work together. Participants joining us for this session should arrive at 3:45pm for refreshements and the meeting will begin at 4:00 pm.
