This event brings together planners, legal professionals, economic development leaders, and inclusion advocates to explore how cultural diversity can shape Birmingham’s urban future. From regeneration to representation, we’ll dive into the opportunities that arise when communities are truly centred in development.
Keynote address:
Cllr Sharon Thompson - Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, Birmingham City Council
Cllr Thompson will reflect on Birmingham’s evolving landscape – including infrastructure, transport, and regeneration – and share her insights on how the city’s rich diversity is contributing and fuelling inclusive economic growth.
Panel discussion:
We’ll then host a short panel discussion with leaders to expand on the themes raised – offering perspectives from lived experience, planning, and economic development.
